Proverbs 12:16 (AMP)

In other words, don’t hold a record of every offense against you. Nobody is perfect, yet many times we expect others to treat us as if they can read our minds. This is foolishness, for we have a tendency to judge ourselves by our motives and others by their actions, but prudence requires us to stop, think again, and in many cases simply release the offending person from our pre-conceived agendas.
